It is recommended by the bill (Re.№2337) to renew the 10% bonus to the pension for the participants of the liquidators of the 1st category of the accident on the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the 5% bonus for the liquidators of the 2nd and 3rd categories. It is also envisaged to strengthen the social guarantees for the parents of dead or lost military officers from the 1st of January 2009. The bonus to the pension will be from 25 to 40 minimum subsistence levels for the disabled people.
Supporting the law the People´s Deputies pointed the attention on the fact that the "special approach" during the determination of the maximum dimension of the pension for retiring pensions for the indicated categories preserved on the level of 95 or 100% depending on the category (with the exception of the 3rd category) according to the item 13 of the Law of Ukraine.
Moreover, taking into the consideration numerous applications on the increase of the pension for the parents whose children have died during the compulsory military service, that is why it is recommended by the Committee to adopt the bill as a basis.
